Balancing Work and Spirituality

We often think we are always tied up with multiple activities and worry how to strike a balance between Work and Spirituality. Do you want to know about the key to strike the right balance between work and Spirituality? How to find time for Spirituality?

According to Sadhguru, “Spirituality is not any particular practice. It is a certain way of being.” Certain dimensions within us are definitely not related to time. However, only a little initial guidance around the same might take time. Our sense of time is essentially because of our body. We need to eat, drink, breathe, excrete just because it is an essential bodily process and requirement. We cannot keep sitting at a particular place for hours or years together because our bodily requirements would force us to move. So, anything we do with our body or thing we do physically, be it running, jogging, walking, reading, eating, it takes time.

Emphasizing the significance of time, Sadhguru says, if we take even a single wrong turn while driving, we would not just lose an hour of our time but an hour from our entire life. Hence, it is supremely important that we need to be a little conscious when we deal with things we do physically. On the contrary, things that we do mentally may take time but it will be much lesser than the physical activities.

Similarly, when we talk about spirituality or spiritual processes, it takes no time at all because it is an inner dimension that doesn’t take time. Spirituality can be pursued with any physical activity whether we are running, walking, eating or doing anything else. As it is only a certain state of being. It only takes a little guidance from a master to reach this state in spirituality.

Hope our question around how to balance Work and Spirituality stands answered now.
